Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay for three days and really enjoyed the spacious plot right by one of the fishing pools. My daughter had a blast at the arcade and the evening entertainment was quite good. However, I found the showers in need of an upgrade and it was a bit disappointing.
I had a mixed experience during my stay. The lodge was located in a quiet part of the park, and the hot tub was nice and private, but the cleanliness of the place left a lot to be desired, with flies in every room and a lingering sewage smell. The dining options were limited and the portions were quite small. Overall, it felt like a decent base for exploring, but there are definitely some areas needing improvement.
I spent my birthday weekend in a spacious cottage with a hot tub, which made for a relaxing getaway. While the accommodation was mostly tidy and comfortable for two, there were some frustrations with maintenance issues in the cottage and disappointing dining experiences at the on-site restaurant. Overall, I would return but skip the restaurant next time, as there are better options nearby.
The park experience was fantastic with great facilities and friendly staff. The campsite was well-maintained, and the fishing was excellent. However, my visit to the Kitchen Café left much to be desired, as the service was slow and the food disappointing. Overall, I would recommend the park, but I suggest steering clear of the café for meals.
We spent a lovely weekend at the park, with plenty of activities for my daughter to enjoy, particularly the water slides. The pod we stayed in was spacious and clean, and we loved the Sunday lunch at Badgers restaurant. However, the service at some points was lacking, especially at the coffee shop, which was disappointing. We would definitely consider returning, but there are areas for improvement.
